On the flight deck of space shuttle Endeavour on May 3, 2012, as the orbiter was powered up for shuttle technicians to continue purging cryogenics off the orbiter in preparation for the vehicle's display as a museum piece for the California Science Center. Endeavour was powered down for the final time at 9:58 am EDT May 11, 2012, the final orbiter to power down for the shuttle program. No shuttle will come to life ever again...
