Over the last several years I've had the great honor of working with the world famous GEICO Skytypers Airshow Team, specifically during their visits to various Florida air shows throughout the year. The flight squadron of six vintage WWII aircraft perform precision flight maneuvers at select airshows across the U.S., bringing their unique dot matrix style skytyping messaging with them. The team, flying in an abreast formation, can produce messages as tall as the Empire State Building and up to eight miles long, with the messages typically visible up to 15 miles in any direction (nearly 400 square miles).
