SpaceX's fifth contracted Space Station resupply flight for NASA, CRS-5, with Dragon delivering over 5,000 pounds of goods to the orbiting Expedition 42 crew. The mission also marks the first time the company attempted to land their Falcon-9 booster on a solid surface, courtesy of an autonomous barge 200 miles offshore as they continue developing a truly reusable rocket. Doing so will dramatically reduce the cost of access to space eventually, which will be a game changer in the coming years, opening up orbital flight to many new markets.
